Grilled Brown Sugar Peaches

A perfect summertime dessert......sweet, juicy peaches grilled with brown sugar and served with fresh whipped cream!

Ingredients


  • 4 peaches, cut in half, pit removed
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 4 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • Whipped cream
  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Fresh mint, finely diced

Instructions

Brush each peach half generously with the melted butter. In a cast iron grill pan, over medium high heat, place the peach halves open side down. Grill for about 5 minutes, until the peaches get golden brown. Turn the peaches over and sprinkle the inside of the halves with the brown sugar. Continue to grill for about 5 minutes. You want the underside to also get lovely char marks and get golden brown.

Remove peaches from pan and top with freshly whipped cream, or serve over ice cream…….or both! Garnish with fresh mint.
