These scones are the perfect addition to your brunch menu.  They are light, flakey and perfect with a dollop of your favorite jam.

Cream Scones

Serves: 12 Total Time: 30 minutes (plus 10 minutes cooling time)


  • 2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 5 tablespoons chilled, unsalted butter, cut into 1/4-inch cubes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
