My question is, are you ready for a summer filled with with refreshing and frugal treats? One thing that my kids and I love to do is make different kinds of popsicles and this Root Beer Float popsicle is one of their favorites.
Ingredients
- 3-4 cans of your favorite Root Beer
- 1 Pint of your favorite Vanilla Ice Cream
- Popsicle molds (you can also use 3 ounce paper cups)
- Popsicle sticks (you may need if using paper cups)
Instructions
In each Popsicle mold (or paper cup) alternate vanilla ice cream, and then root beer. You will want to start with the ice cream, add the root beer (careful to add a small amount to avoid it foaming over) and continue until the Popsicle mold (or cup) is almost full. The root beer should be about ¼ inch from the top.
Place the Popsicle molds in the freezer, and keep them there overnight. If using paper cups, insert a Popsicle stick into the ice cream in each cup. The ice cream should keep the stick upright. Place all the cups on a tray and freeze overnight.
