Grilled Peaches -- Have you ever put peaches on your grill? If you haven't, yet, this is a must make dish for you this summer. Not only is it incredibly quick and easy (ready in 10 minutes!), but the smokiness of the grill adds a whole new layer of yum to sweet summer peaches. There isn't anything these don't go with!
- 4 firm white peaches, cut in half, pit removed (you can also use yellow peaches)
- ½ stick of butter, melted
- Ground cinnamon
- Honey or Maple Syrup (about ¼ cup)
Over indirect heat on your grill, or over low heat on your grill pan, grill the peaches cut side down. Be careful to make sure the heat is low enough or the sugar will burn. If you are grilling them on your bbq, set the peaches away from the flame.
Turn them over and grill for another minute or two.
These peaches are AMAZING served over ice cream, cut them up and put them in a salad, or serve alongside grilled pork or fish.
