Roasted Red Bell Pepper Pasta

  • 2 red bell peppers
  • 2-3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 shallots, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • Sea salt and ground black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups milk (you can use whole milk, 2%, or almond milk)
  • 1 ½ tablespoons of flour
  • Pinch red pepper flake
  • 1 package of your favorite pasta (you can use gluten free pasta or spiralized zucchini
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Finely chopped fresh basil
