Black Beans with Garlic and Cilantro (Side Dish)

Ingredients

  • 1 can black beans
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and finely diced
  • 2-4 sprigs of cilantro (you can substitute parsley)
  • ¼ cup of cotija cheese

Instructions

Drain and rinse the beans. Add them to a small pot over medium heat, add the garlic and cilantro. Warm them, stirring often, for about 15 minutes.

Once they are hot, remove from heat, garnish with cojita cheese and serve.
