  • 3 large shallots, thinly sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • One 14 ½ ounce can diced tomatoes
  • ¼ cup dry white wine
  • 2 tablespoons thinly sliced fresh basil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
