This takes me to vacations in Hawaii, on warm sandy beaches, listening to the sound of the ocean. The recipe is from the Royal Hawaiian Hotel (does it get more Hawaiian than that? I think not!) and is a lighter, fresher take on the original.
- 4 fresh strawberries
- Two 1-inch slices of banana
- 2 ounces coconut cream (Coco Lopez)
- 2 ounce pineapple juice
- 3 ounces Golden Rum
Muddle the strawberries and banana in the bottom of a Boston shaker glass. Fill the shaker glass with ice and then add the rest of the ingredients.
Cover with top of the Boston shaker, shake vigorously. Pour into 2 hurricane glasses. Garnish each glass with pineapple wedge and paper parasol.
