Add chopped garlic and one pinch of salt to mortar and pestle or food processor. Mash until it forms a paste.
Scoop out flesh of avocado and add to small bowl.
Add the mashed garlic paste, lemon juice and hot sauce to the avocado.
Using a fork, mash until it's the consistency you like.
Taste to see if you need to adjust the seasoning -- add more salt or lemon juice if you like
Serve with chips, enchiladas, tacos, nachos, burritos.....or just eat it with a spoon.
