Easy Grilled Peaches with Maple Brown Sugar Butter

Ingredients

  • 4 peaches, halved, pits removed
  • 1/2 stick butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • good pinch Maldon salt or other flakey sea salt
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • vanilla ice cream

  • Heat your outdoor grill to medium heat.
  • In a small bowl mix together the butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, maple syrup and Maldon salt.
  • Melt the brown sugar butter mixture in the microwave or in a small pot on the stove.
  • Brush the cut side of each half with some of the brown sugar butter mixture.
  • Place the peaches cut side down on the grill and grill for 3-5 minutes.
  • Use a spatula to gently flip the peaches over and brush more of the brown sugar butter mixture on top. Grill for another 3-5 minutes.
  • Remove peaches from the grill and place on separate plates. Top each half with vanilla ice cream and serve right away.
