Total Time: 1 hour 15 minutes
Servings: 25

Ingredients

  • 1 jug your favorite Apple Cider (make sure it’s cider and NOT juice….there IS a difference!)
  • 1 orange
  • fresh, whole cloves
  • 2 cinnamon  sticks
  • bourbon, optional

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients, except bourbon to a large saucepan. Heat over medium low heat. The great thing is you can leave the cider heating away on your stove all day! Just make sure to keep the heat really low. It shouldn’t be simmering or bubbling. Your house will smell AMAZING!Be sure to strain the cider before serving…..you don’t want anyone getting whole cloves in their cider.
  • TIP: You can either add the orange and cloves separately, OR you can press the cloves into the orange. If you press the cloves into the orange you won’t have to either strain the cider, or go fishing around to make sure you remove ALL the cloves before serving.
